Privacy Policy
Ligature Solutions LLC ("Ligature Solutions", "we", "us") is a technology consulting firm based in Wilmette, Illinois. This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect only what you choose to send us, we use it only to reply to you, and we never sell it.
What we collect
Information you send through the contact form:
- Your email address or mobile number, depending on how you ask us to reply
- Your name and company, if you provide them
- The subject and message you write
Technical information: when you submit the form, we receive your IP address and the time of submission. We use these to block spam and abuse, and they are included in the notification we receive about your message.
This site does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or social media pixels.
How we use it
- To read and reply to your message by the method you chose (email or text)
- To follow up on the conversation you started, such as scheduling a call or sending information you requested
- To protect the website from spam and abuse
We will not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing messages unless you ask us to.
Text messages
If you choose a reply by text, you agree to receive text messages from Ligature Solutions about your inquiry. Message frequency varies with the conversation. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Who else handles your information
We use a small number of service providers to run this website and deliver your message. They process your information only to provide their service to us:
- Microsoft Azure hosts this website and the contact form service, and may keep standard technical logs such as IP addresses.
- Twilio SendGrid delivers contact form messages by email.
- Twilio delivers contact form messages by text.
- Microsoft 365 stores the email conversations that follow.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this site. Your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your messages for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain normal business records of our conversations. IP addresses used for spam protection are held in memory for no more than ten minutes, apart from the copy included in our message notification. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what information we have about you, correct it, or delete it. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws, and we will honor them.
Security
The website is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and service credentials are stored as encrypted settings, never in the website's code. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us.
Children
This website is for businesses and is intended for people 18 or older, as our Terms and Conditions require. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the effective date above.
